Wellspring Dental offers a range of restorative dental services including crowns/caps, dentures, and bridges for the residents of Pembroke
A dental cap (also known as a crown) is a permanent covering that fits over the original tooth. When a tooth is cracked, decayed, or damaged, your dentist may need to fit a dental crown over your tooth.
Crowns can be made of porcelain, gold or a combination of both materials.
A dental bridge is a device used to fill the space where a tooth has fallen out or been removed. A typical dental bridge consists of a filler tooth that is attached to two surrounding crowns.
Without the use of a bridge, spaces in the mouth from missing teeth can cause multiple teeth to shift, lead to bad bites, and/or jaw problems, and may cause gum disease.
Dentures can be used to replace one missing tooth, or as many as all of your teeth. There are two types of dentures – Full and Partial.
Full dentures replace all teeth in the top and/or bottom section of your mouth. Partial dentures can be used to replace one or more missing teeth.
